
Schools are a good setting to promote healthy eating habits and physical exercise because children spend around 8 hours there on a weekday. Schools sponsor sport teams and they provide P.E. (physical education) or gym class. School could provide healthy lunch options and have days devoted to physical exercise like Field Day.
