Parents
Parents need to modify their eating habits. They need to be educated on what food is healthy. Parents need to talk to their kids about the importance of eating healthy. They need to have a set daily schedule for meals and activities. Parents need to value health because they are role models to their children. Parents need to modify their life as well as their kids.
Healthcare Providers
Healthcare providers need to educate the family on healthy eating. They need to promote exercising and less time sitting around. They need to monitor the children's BMI to make sure their weight is ideal for their height. Healhcare providers do a lot of the "encouraging" part of the system.
Schools
School need to implement healthy eating and physical activity into their school days. They need to provide school-aged kids with the proper exercising equipment for recess. They should be involved in programs that promote good food choices. They should educate children on eating healthy and the consequences if not (Durbin, 2018).
All three of these groups need to meet up to prevent childhood obesity from growing
